What is Verified Location?

In an age of AI fakery, misleading online profiles and fraudulent users, Verified Location lets real people prove they are genuinely where they say they are.

Online profiles are flooded with fake users, misleading photos, and remote users pretending to be in your area that waste everyone’s time. We solve that by giving genuine users a simple, trustworthy way to prove they are real and are where they claim they are.

Can I search for people's Verified Locations?

Verified Locations can only be viewed using the unique Location Codes our users share. There is no public search or directory of Verified Locations.

What about GPS location spoofing apps?

We use a mobile phone app to verify users locations because of the problem of GPS spoofing apps. By using an app we can detect common spoofing techniques and the app rejects locations being verified while they are active. We also use server side location matching based on data passed via a users connection.

Can people see when I move?

When you verify a location you are given a unique Location Code which you share with people you want to prove your location to. When you next verify your location you can leave your Location Code as is, in which case your new Verified Location will be shown, or you can choose to create a new Location Code to share for your new location.

Do you track my movements?

We only access your GPS location at the moment you choose to verify a location. We do not track your movements or monitor your location at any other time.

Verified Location is designed with privacy in mind. Location checks happen only when you request them.

Do you verify users' identities?

No. Captured photos are used only to confirm that a real person is present when a location is verified. They are not used for identity recognition or facial identification.

Can the Multi subscription be used for different people?

Our Verified Location app can only be used on a single mobile phone, but when we verify a location we only check you are a real person, not that you are the same person. Therefore you can verify the location of different people by selecting create a new Location Code for each if you wish.

Can I change or cancel my subscription?

You can switch between our Standard and Plus subscriptions at any time (changing from Plus to Standard will occur at your next billing date).

You can cancel your subscription at any time (will be cancelled at your next billing date).
